Hello! My name is Nora, I am an artist that specializes in acrylic paintings of animals and nature. I have been painting and creating art since I was very young, but took my hobby into something more serious at twelve years old by selling it for charity, entering into contests, and sharing my art online. I grew up homeschooled until my sophomore year in high school due to being born with a chronic illness called Short Bowel Syndrome. Being homeschooled because of my disability resulted in me learning what I needed to learn in my own way, feeling very connected and curious of nature around me, and gave me lots of creative freedom growing up. My work has been displayed in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Tallahassee City Hall, and Florida Animation Film Festival. My intent is to show how our world as people is connected to the world of animals in a thought-provoking way for people to enjoy.
